is one quiet night to much to ask for ?

hey guys ( if anyone is actually reading this)

i want to start off by saying i suck at blogging. Apparently i suck so bad that i created this account in 2010 wrote like 2 lines and completely forgot about it until today.

okay so lately there`s been a few things that have been getting on my nerve and well i needed somewhere to vent,

I`m going to start this rant off by saying that i live in a house with 5 other people ( one of which is a very stubborn toddler) 3 dogs ( the youngest being a rowdy lab/husky mix pup who`s hobbies include jumping on people and chewing everything in sight) 2 cats and 3 fish ( mind you the fish don`t do to much)

Most of the time, living a i a "full house" is great. There`s always something to do and someone to do it with. Weather its kiddie games, adult conversations, embarrassing moments that later become funny stories ... or just chilling on the sofa watching a movie, there`s seldom a lack of entertainment in this humble abode.

The constant entertainment is great, but in a house with 6 people and a abundance of pets , constant entertainment means constant noise. Normally the noise level doesn't bother me but sometimes it would be nice to get a little quiet time if you know what i`m saying! ever try studying when there`s a toddler having a meltdown or its parents are having a screaming match ( argument ) in the next room? Ever try sleeping, because you have an early morning the next day, with people in the next room watching a movie at an unnecessarily loud volume? let me tell you its not fun. sure i could ask them to turn it down a few notches and they will but the next day its right back to being loud.  i work in 12 hour shifts in the geriatric wing of a special care home so honestly is a nice relaxing night when i get home to much to ask for? Apparently so because my welcome party almost always consist of rowdy / barking dogs , a cranky ( and equally rowdy toddler) and the rest of the days latest drama ( usually loud people trying to speak over one an other)

I`ve tried headphones ( the cat chewed one pair the kid broke another) , closing my door the child barges in whenever it pleases ( his parents lack the ability to monitor him  so he pretty much does as he pleases) and if i lock the door the animals scratch at it to get in ( my cat loves to cuddle and my dog must be with me at all times when i`m home) going for walks helps but i still have to return to chaos when the walk ends.

IF ANYONE IS READING THIS PLEASE I BEG YOU  FEEL FREE TO OFFER UP SOME ADVICE. I WILL TRY ALMOST ANYTHING TO ESCAPE THIS TORTURE.

Adios ( good bye) for now
your annoyed silence seeking blogger
Kayla Anne
